A great gathering with PhD students, sharing their latest thesis progress and enjoying enthralling team-building activities together as a team.
DigiWells recently organized a gathering at Vitenfabrikken in Sandnes, bringing together PhD students, advisors, and management. Erlend as the center director, started out with an overview of ongoing activities and important information. Subsequently, the PhD students took the stage and delivered engaging presentations on their respective research focuses. Each presentation was followed by fruitful discussions and relevant questions. We even got an update on Felix’s work on video as he has an ongoing research stay at Colorado Schools of Mines this spring/summer.
The management and supervisors received valuable feedback about the benefits of pursuing a PhD as part of a center. The opportunity to work closely with experienced researchers and receive industry feedback were highlighted as two key advantages. Additionally, the students offered some suggestions for improvement.
To better get to know each other, Vitenfabrikken organized enjoyable team-building activities. The pictures captured the participants' full engagement and competitive spirit. Finally, we rounded off the gathering with a pleasant and tasty dinner.
