The Post Doc position are associated with the center for research-based innovation DigiWells: Digital Well Center for Value Creation, Competitiveness and Minimum Environmental Footprint. They are part of the center's effort to establish a collaborative environment, which will consist of researchers at NORCE, experts from industry, professors from UiS, NTNU and UiB and a total of 17 PhD students and postdocs.
The work will include:
- developing intelligent control strategies for real-time optimization (extremum seeking control, model predictive control, gradient-less optimization, safe reinforcement learning)
- conducting simulations to demonstrate, showcase and validate developed control strategies
- disseminating results though peer-reviewed journals and conferences
- work in close collaboration with PhD students within DigiWells
The position in data-driven optimization and control at NTNU reports to Professor Ole Morten Aamo as the main scientific supervisor of the research.
