Period: | 06.2024 - 06.2026 |
Postdoc objective
The primary objective of his work is to develop a Drilling Data Bot (DDBot) leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) to automate semantic modeling of drilling data, thus simplifying the manual modeling process. This DDBot aims to convert drilling data streams tagged with mnemonics, into semantic models. These semantic models can then be integrated into various digital platforms, such as DDHub — a framework to enable the transparent and consistent exchange of real-time signals. The vision of DDBot and DDHub is to establish a plug-and-play environment by improving drilling data interoperability. The research involves semantic modeling, applications of LLM, and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
