Durra Handri Saputera defended his thesis at UiB January 2026. The thesis was entitled "3D Integral Equation Modelling and Inversion of Induction Logging Data". The supervisory committee consisted of Professor Morten Jakobsen, UiB, Assistant Professor Koen van Dongen, TU Delft in addition to senior scientists Nazanin Jahani, Sergey Alyaev, and Kjersti Solberg Eikrem all from NORCE as co-supervisors.
The thesis was very well received by the opponents. Durras work has strengthened the collaborations with UiB and international collaboration with TU Delft and UT Austin. Durra spent half a year at UT Austin.
